About the Wayne County Treasurers Association (WCTA)
The Wayne County Treasurers Association (WCTA) is a professional organization comprised of municipal treasurers, deputy treasurers, and financial professionals serving communities throughout Wayne County, Michigan.
Founded to foster collaboration, education, and excellence in public financial management, WCTA provides a forum for members to share best practices, discuss legislation and compliance, and promote innovation in local treasury operations. The association also serves as a bridge between cities, townships, and the Wayne County Treasurers Office, working collectively to enhance transparency and service to taxpayers.

Activities & Events
WCTA hosts Quarterly Events, including:
- Educational workshops and speaker forums
- Networking luncheons and seasonal gatherings
- Informational sessions on tax collection, foreclosures, investment policy, and more
Past events have included collaborative outreach with financial partners, roundtables with county leadership, and the annual WCTA Holiday Party—bringing together treasurers from across the region in a spirit of shared purpose and camaraderie.
